MRS. ARLENE ELLER WARREN

Mrs. Edith Arlene Eller Warren, age 87, of Arbor Grove Church Road, Purlear, widow of Paul M. Warren died Monday, October 19, 2009 at her home.

Funeral services will be held 11:00, Wednesday, October 21, at Arbor Grove United Methodist Church with the Rev. Ed McKinney officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive at Arbor Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery from 9:00 until 10:30 prior to the service.

Mrs. Warren was born in Wilkes County, July 5, 1922, to Adolphus and Ethel Wells Eller. She was a lifetime member of Arbor Grove United Methodist Church. She was an active member of the United Methodist Women's Fellowship and church choir until recent years of declining health. Mrs. Warren enjoyed cooking, sewing, gardening and spending time with her family. She has left a wonderful legacy of love and support for her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband, Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by an infant son, Thomas Jerry Warren; three sisters, Bobby Jean Eller, Betty Jo Eller and Gertrude Eller.

Mrs. Warren is survived by two daughters, Judy Warren Hall and husband, M. K. and Becki Warren Thomas and husband, Tom, all of Purlear; one son, Gary Paul Warren and wife, Sharon, of Purlear; one sister, Christine Roberts of Purlear; six grandchildren, Adam Warren and wife, Laurie, Angela Roten and husband, Scotty, Andrew Thomas and wife, Melissa, Leah Bumgarner and husband, Brandon, Jonathan Hall, Justin Hall; three great grandchildren, Cameron Roten, Caleb Roten, Luke Bumgarner.
