MR. KENNETH MORGAN WADDELL
Mr. Kenneth Morgan Waddell, age 63, of Finley Avenue, North Wilkesboro died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00, Tuesday, October 27, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with the Rev. Joel Blevins officiating. Burial with military honors by Veterans of Foreign War Post 1142, will be in Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 1:00 until 2:00 prior to the service.
Mr. Waddell was born in Baltimore, MD, July 30, 1946, to Rudd Morgan and Myrtle Lyall Waddell. He was a member of Oak Grove Baptist Church. Mr. Waddell served in the US Navy during the Vietnam War. He was retired from the US Postal Service, where he was a postal carrier.
Mr. Waddell is survived by one sister, Vickie Waddell Holbrook and husband, Shirrell of North Wilkesboro; his step mother, France Keys Waddell of Wilkesboro; one step brother, Gerald May, of Norfolk, VA; two nephews, Andy Holbrook of North Wilkesboro and Jason Holbrook of Senoia, GA.
