MRS. LEVONIA PALMER TRIPLETT
Mrs. Levonia Celeste Palmer Triplett, age 78, of Glady's Fork Road, Ferguson, widow of Chancy Miller Triplett died Saturday, October 24, 2009 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center.
Funeral services will be held 2:00, Tuesday, October 27, at Elk Baptist Church with the Rev. Vernon E. Eller and the Rev. Chris Lakey officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 6:30 until 8:30 Monday night.
Mrs. Triplett was born in Caldwell County, March 6, 1931, to Arlo and Eula Messer Palmer. She was a member of Elk Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Triplett was preceded in death by one grandchild.
Mrs. Triplett is survived by four daughters, Jean Anderson and husband, Steve of Granite Falls, Joan McGuire and husband, J. C. of Wilkesboro, Dona Thanos and husband, Steve of Spruce Pines, Sharon Eller and husband, Vernon of Ferguson; five sisters, Irene Ridgeway and husband, Sam, Rowena Cole all of Hudson, Geraldine Huffman and husband, Howard of Hildebrand, Linda Schmitt and husband, Frank of Charlotte, Jewell Winkler of Hickory; three brothers, Cecil Palmer and wife, Margie of Lenoir, Gerald Palmer and wife, Jeanette of Valdese, Arlo Palmer, Jr. and wife, Sandy of Newton; five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Maurice Eller, James Anderson, Eric Thanos, Nathan Thanos, Roy Price, Howard Huffman, Jr.
