Mrs. Betty Jo Faw Kilby, age 66, of Prospect Drive, North Wilkesboro died Sunday, October 25, 2009 at Wilkes Regional Medical Center.
A graveside service will be held Tuesday 11:00 AM, October 27, 2009 at Scenic Memorial Gardens with Mr. Chris Hamblen officiating. The family will receive friends at Scenic Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel immediately following the service.
Mrs. Kilby was born August 12, 1943 in Wilkes County to Thomas Eugene "Gene" and Elsie Bumgarner Faw. Before retiring, she worked in quality control for the J. C. Penny Stores. Mrs. Kilby was a member of Union Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by a son, Jeffrey Kilby.
She is survived by: her husband, Clay Kilby of the home; two daughters, Lynn Hulcher, Teri Bauguess and husband William "Billy" all of North Wilkesboro; three brothers, Robert E. Faw and wife, Joyce of Hays, Garry D. Faw and wife Debbie of North Wilkesboro, Kenneth Faw and wife, Barbara of Millers Creek; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be to the charity of the donor's choice.
