Mrs. Cavil A Owens Adams, age 87, of NC Hwy 16 North, Millers Creek died Saturday, October 31, 2009 at Britthaven Nursing Home.
Funeral services will be held Sunday 3:00 PM, November 1, 2009 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Luke Pyles officiating. Burial will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday form 1:30 to 2:30 prior to the service.
Mrs. Adams was born June 9, 1922 in Wilkes County to J. Rudy and Sarah Beshears Owens. She was a member of White Oak Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
She is survived by: her husband, James Andrew Adams of Statesville; one step-daughter, Druscilla Pyles and husband, Larry of Millers Creek; two step-sons, Michael Adams and wife, Judy, Anthony Adams and wife, Mickey all of Millers Creek; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
