MRS. LEONA NELSON CAUDILL
Mrs. Leona Woodie Nelson Caudill, age 85, of Chickadee Road, North Wilkesboro, widow of Treely Henderson Caudill died Sunday, November 1, 2009 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00, Wednesday, November 4, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with the Rev. Bud Shepherd officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 Tuesday night.
Mrs. Caudill was born in Alleghany County, December 26, 1923, to Conse Woodie and Della Nelson. She was a member of Antioch Baptist Church in McGrady.
Mrs. Caudill is survived by two daughters, Margie Pearl Wagoner of McGrady and Ellen Swaim of North Wilkesboro; one son, Roy Lee Caudill and wife, Dorothy of Roaring River; one sister, Irene Shoun of Millers Creek; one brother, Billy Pike of North Wilkesboro; 12 grandchildren; 30 great grandchildren; 15 great, great grandchildren; 9 step great grandchildren.
