MRS. MARY SMITH INGRAM
Mrs. Mary Smith Ingram, age 87, of Wilkesboro, widow of R. J. Ingram died Tuesday, November 3, 2009 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 11:00, Friday, November 6, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with the Rev. Phil Chapman officiating. Burial will be in Scenic Memorial Gardens. The family will receive at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home from 6:00 until 8:00 Thursday night.
Mrs. Ingram was born in Alexander County, NC on December 16, 1921, to Nancy Belle Smith. She retired from General Times and was a homemaker. Mrs. Ingram was also postmistress at Love Valley Post Office.
Mrs. Ingram is survived by two sons, Harold Quinten Ingram and wife, Dixie of Hickory and Owen Harland Ingram and wife, Terri Jo of Roaring River; four grandchildren, Jeanna I. Frye and husband, Ryan of Hickory, JoCasta I. Britt and husband, Wayne of Pittsboro, Audrey I. Signorelli and husband, Jon of Leesburg, VA, Amber Ingram of Chapel Hill; two great grandchildren, Cassidy Frye and Jacob Frye both of Hickory; also leaves behind two furry companions (cats) Rascal and Thomas.
