MR. HOWARD RAY OSBORNE
Mr. Howard Ray Osborne, age 85, of Boomer Road, Boomer died Friday, July 16, 2010 at his home.
Private services will be held at a later date.
Mr. Osborne was born in Ashe County, April 25, 1925, to Bryan and Vera Roark Osborne. He was a member of Zion Hill Baptist Church. Mr. Osborne worked at Bernhardt Furniture in Lenoir as an inspector.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Osborne was preceded in death by three sisters, Ruby Furr, Thelma Parker and Dorothy Hayes; two brothers, Ralph and Max Osborne.
Mr. Osborne is survived by his wife, Leona Elizabeth Beaver Osborne of the home; one son, James Ray Osborne of Boomer; one sister, Mildred Irene Sexton of Baltimore, MD; two brothers, Bobby and Grace Osborne of North Wilkesboro and Ronald and Dorothy Osborne of West Jefferson.
