Dear Bob and Veneal...

You have my deepest condolences on Jean's death. Bob, I know how much Jean meant to you, and she meant the world to all of us who knew the two of you as a couple. I remember fondly the many conversations over dinner and look back on them as a gift. Jean was an exceptional person in every way, and I enjoyed my time with her immensely. Her grace, beauty, humor and understanding are greatly missed, but my sadness cannot come close to yours at Jean's passing. I wish you both peace.

Veneal, Please know that you and your family are in the thoughts and prayers of many educators around the state that have been touched by the words that God has spoken through you over the years. Dear Veneal and Family,

I'm praying for you during this time of grief and loss, that God will wrap His loving arms of comfort, support, and peace around you in such a way that you will feel His presence constantly. May He bless you with a closeness that surpasses all you have ever known.

Your mother was such a wonderful, beautiful, sweet lady and, while I haven't seen her in a number of years, I remember her with fondness and admiration. My heart goes out to you during this painful time but I know you're relying on God's amazing grace and will be stronger for it.

We were saddened to see that Jean had passed away, but you can be comforted in knowing that she is home with her Lord, and not suffering any more.
