Dear Girls and family.I'm sorry I didn't hear about your mother's death until about 1:30 pm today. Someone called Stephen last night and I don't think he thought about calling me or Dean; he was already in Ferguson when he called.I have a new address and phone. Actually, it was mother and daddy's.

I loved your mother and daddy so much. Your mother was a lovely person and I had a few really nice conversations with her. I have thought so many times of coming up to visit her or to call, but I'm so sorry I didn't. When Jean and Joan were born, I was about 5 yrs. old and I stayed with Grandma and Grandpa a lot.I remember Jean and Joan in their high chairs waiting to be fed and I begged Aunt Levonia to let me feed them. She was such a gracious lady and a real blessing. She will be missed by our family.

Dearest Sharon and Vernon,
Bobby and I are so sorry for the passing of Mama. I know you will miss her greatly. We also know that with God's help and with time he will help you see that Mama is so much better off with our Lord. To the family,
Aunt Levonia will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her. She always made you feel welcomed and was down to earth. She is now with Chancey and Grandmother in heaven. May God give comfort to her sisters and brothers during this time. My prayers go out to Sharon, Dona, Jean, and Joan that God will give them peace and comfort in the following days.
