My family has always appreciated the kind, easy going friend that JB has been to all of us. He was as peaceable a person as I have ever known and loved the simple things in life. He loved his family and friends and was a knowledgeable conversationalist. The last time I saw him, he was visiting with my brother and we talked for a long time. He had answers to a lot of questions that I had about some of my ancestors. He will surely be missed. May our Lord bless and comfort the sister and nieces and nephews that he leaves behind.

My family will miss J.B. greatly. I will always remember him sitting on his front porch during the evening times and seeing his lamp light from the road. I have many memories that I will cherish forever.

J.B. was a good friend and eager conversationalist for the last 19 years of my life. We didn't see eye-to-eye on everything, but we both enjoyed the laughs and recollections that our conversations usually produced. I will miss his easy-going nature and appreciation of simple pleasures. He'll be missed and fondly remembered.
